The paper presents a project implemented at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, which stems from the experience of ELLEU project, E-learning for European Languages and Literature, funded a few years ago by the European Commission. With a group of collaborators, we are developing a network of learning materials, focusing on the diachronic variation of Italian language and on the potential of metalinguistic learning, both of which are strategic resources to achieve a fundamental goal: reading classic texts of Italian literature in the original version. Targeted students are advanced learners of Italian as L2 (QCRE C1-C2) interested in a non-superficial approach to Italian literary tradition. The paper will outline the theoretical framework of the project and the structure of the modules so far realized, with a particular focus on "self-help" tools, which will enable students to overcome the difficulties inherent in non-contemporary literary texts. It will be shown that central to this perspective is the use of telematic resources, such as text files, dictionaries and other reference resources that are available on the net: these being valuable learning supports, especially for those who live abroad and have hardly access to equipped Italian libraries.

Abstract
It will be shown that central to this perspective is the use of telematic resources, such as text files, dictionaries and other reference resources that are available on the net: these being valuable learning supports, especially for those who live abroad and have hardly access to equipped Italian libraries.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
