We have implemented a two level parser which handles word-level morphology and context-free syntax in order to analyze large italian texts. The parser has the ability to produce the syntactic structures of all major constituents and this information is passe onto the phonological module in order to enable the phonological rules to build adequate representations for the phonetic output.
