This report presents the results of two complementary surveys conducted in Italy within the framework of the Digital Literacies Student Survey (DLSS) and the Digital Literacies Teacher Survey (DLTS), with a specific focus on CLIL contexts. The student survey explores learners’ backgrounds, their experiences with CLIL, access to digital devices inside and outside school, patterns of digital engagement in everyday life, and perceived challenges in the use of digital technologies. The teacher survey investigates CLIL teaching experience, school environments, the use of digital tools in CLIL, teachers’ competences and challenges, as well as their perceptions of students’ digital competences and extramural digital practices. Particular attention is devoted to the role of Critical Digital Literacies in CLIL teaching and learning. Together, the findings offer an integrated overview of digital literacies in Italian CLIL settings, highlighting both opportunities and challenges for pedagogical innovation and teacher professional development.
