Le Variazioni Kundera

In our era of «extreme politicization», in which a further stage of Modern Times can be identified, the work of Milan Kundera stands out for having explored the different existential implications of themes otherwise reduced to concepts. The hypothesis underlying this article is that the combination of the sensitive and the cognitive dimension is the leitmotif that runs through the entire artistic career of Milan Kundera, from his debut marked by the essay on the novelist Vladislav Vančura to Oeuvre (2016), the edition of the Pléiade edited by François Ricard which in France collects all the literary works of Kundera approved by him. Proguidis focuses on this aspect to retrace their trajectory.

Nella nostra epoca di «estrema politicizzazione», in cui si può individuare uno stadio ulteriore dei Tempi moderni, l’opera di Milan Kundera si distingue per aver aver esplorato i diversi risvolti esistenziali di temi altrimenti ridotti a concetto. L’ipotesi alla base di questo articolo è che il connubio della dimensione sensibile e di quella cognitiva sia il filo conduttore che attraversa l’intero percorso artistico di Milan Kundera, dal suo esordio con il saggio sul romanziere Vladislav Vančura a Oeuvre (2016), l’edizione della Pléiade a cura di François Ricard che in Francia raccoglie tutte le opere letterarie di Kundera da egli approvate.
