In spite of recent efforts aimed at providing more conceptual clarity, political risk analysis as a field of inquiry is still theoretically underdeveloped. Starting with the analysis of a number of case studies, this chapter disentangles the relationship between the transgression of various types of ethical norms and political risk by multinational enterprises (MNEs), making a case for the importance of identifying, assessing and managing ethical political risk in closer connection with MNE’s tools and mechanisms to manage corporate social responsibility.

Abstract
In spite of recent efforts aimed at providing more conceptual clarity, political risk analysis as a field of inquiry is still theoretically underdeveloped. Starting with the analysis of a number of case studies, this chapter disentangles the relationship between the transgression of various types of ethical norms and political risk by multinational enterprises (MNEs), making a case for the importance of identifying, assessing and managing ethical political risk in closer connection with MNE’s tools and mechanisms to manage corporate social responsibility.File in questo prodotto:
