La pronuncia dell’italiano per studenti tedescofoni

The learning of the pronunciation of a L2 by adults is particularly complicated and numerous errors which can characterize learners’ speech depend greatly on the influence of the phonetic- phonological system of the L1 on that of the L2. This work has analysed the learning of the pronunciation of Italian as a L2 by German-speaking students while they attended an intermediate-advanced level Italian language course. Oral production, perceptive oral ability and difficulties regarding the orthographic representation of Italian have all been analysed. The acquisition difficulties have been described by examining the rhythm, accentuation, consonant duration, vowels and the consonant system of the students’ oral production, while orthographic tests have been carried out to examine the various writing errors caused by perceptive difficulties or by an incomplete acquisition of the relationship between writing and pronunciation in Italian.
